The choice behind the numbers

The reference point is TH18 attacks against TH18 bases in Clan Wars and CWL, so this is a high-level signal rather than a universal answer. Removing Fire Heart’s damage bonus shifts the equipment conversation toward survival value: it still offers durability and healing, but its opportunity cost is easier to see. That is an editorial read of the change, not a promise of a new win rate.

Ruin Knights becoming launchable by Spring Traps is a meaningful interaction. It puts pathing and trap placement back into the plan instead of leaving the decision at the troop screen. That does not make an attack style obsolete; it creates another point for attackers and defenders to calculate.

The Hog Rider, Miner and P.E.K.K.A buffs bring familiar troops back into the conversation. They may not replace the current favourites immediately, but they create comparable alternatives for wars and CWL. Frozen Arrow and Portal Pendant extend the same choice between control and survival. For high-level clans in Thailand and Indonesia, the useful evidence will be the next war samples; other Town Halls should treat this as direction, not a guaranteed result.
