Honor Royale turns Honor of Kings into a three-minute battle royale
The September global update adds Honor Royale Beta, Wang Wei and two Flowborn classes. The compact 2v2v2v2 format is the real story.

A short match with several pressure pointsLevel Infinite's September 23 global update is notable for more than a new hero. Honor Royale Beta compresses a match into roughly three minutes: four teams of two enter from four corners and the last team standing wins. It gives the game a lighter competitive lane for players who do not have time for a full ranked session.

A short match with several pressure points
The safe zone closes toward the centre while monsters and chests provide Runes that instantly improve a character. A downed player can return after ten seconds if a teammate survives, so a fight is not automatically over after the first knock. At 90 seconds a central boss appears; defeating it grants a shield and a lightning effect, creating a natural moment for teams to contest the middle.
The update also adds mid-lane hero Wang Wei and the Assassin and Roamer Flowborn classes. Wang Wei became available on October 8 according to the release. For players in Thailand and Indonesia, Honor Royale is interesting because it offers a clear, short-form alternative to the usual ranked rhythm. It is still a beta, so later availability and tuning should be checked in the game client.
