KingShot Hero Gear Ascension: why level 100 may not be enough

Your Hero Gear has reached level 100, but Ascension still is not available. Before collecting more gear, look at the piece's Mastery level. Enhancement and Mastery are separate tracks; finishing one does not finish the other.

The requirements belong to the same piece

The official Ascension FAQ requires Enhancement 100, Mastery 10 and sufficient server age. It does not give one universal day number. A guide saying “day 40” is therefore not a substitute for the requirement displayed on your server.

For example, a level-100 piece at Mastery 8 is still missing two Mastery levels. Upgrading another piece to level 100 will not help this one qualify. Choose the piece you want to ascend and finish its missing track first.

Choose a piece you actually use

The ONE alliance gear guide separates Hero Gear from Governor Gear and discusses investment in a main three-hero march. That distinction matters when comparing guides: an army-wide Governor Gear upgrade and a Hero Gear upgrade are different purchases.

Open the march you use for the content you care about. Check which hero wears the candidate piece, then read the next upgrade's stat change. A strong piece sitting on a rarely used hero is an easy way to spend materials without noticing much improvement in your regular battles.

Ascension is the start of another upgrade path

Century Games identifies Mithril as a material for Gear Imbuement. The community guide also describes later checkpoints that consume it. Read the next material requirement before committing your stock to several pieces at once.

A useful first project is one regularly used piece whose Enhancement and Mastery are ready. Finish that project, check the resulting stats, and then pick the next slot. You do not need to start every eligible piece on the same day.
