Wuthering Waves Tappo brings Resonator companionship to the desktop
Kuro Games presents Wuthering Waves Tappo as a separate, free Windows desktop companion with interactions and collections. It is an extension of the character experience, not a new main-game version or Convene banner.

A quieter way to keep the characters nearbyKuro Games' Wuthering Waves Tappo is a separate Windows desktop companion rather than a new patch for the main game. Its official page describes a free app with typing interactions, collections and multiplayer-related features, with Windows 10/11 64-bit listed in the requirements. It should not be read as a new Convene announcement or a 3.8 schedule.

A quieter way to keep the characters nearby
The appeal of Tappo is its change of setting. Instead of adding another combat system, it lets familiar Resonators appear as a lightweight desktop presence. The official feature description points toward small interactions and collecting, which may suit players who enjoy the cast and visual identity but do not want to launch the full client for every short visit.
Tappo and the international main game remain separate products. The app's free label does not grant Astrite, Lunite, Convene rewards or any main-game purchase. Kuro's public pages also do not yet provide a complete regional rollout and feature matrix, so the localized official download page remains the useful reference before installation.
